The pet food recalls continue. The best "wholistic" suggestion to prevent
danger to your pet is — STOP feeding dry kibble dog food. In our
"wholistic" opinion, dry kibble dog food is the least nutritious form of
food to feed a carnivore. Furthermore, a majority of all pet food recalls is
with dry food. Canned food, freeze-dried food and raw food have a much lower

For any
medical problem we always suggest seeing a
veterinarian first. But
traditional veterinarians cannot always
solve all the problems. Holistic
veterinarians may have more tools and options available but
even they have limitations. Here is an example of finally resorting
to holistic methods when traditional treatment did not work.
A client's
Shih Tzu had allergies and was
prone to sebaceous
cysts.
Their vet expressed the cysts regularly. The vet said the only way
to get rid of them is surgery. The cysts came back 2-3 weeks after
surgery. The pet's parents were already giving the human-grade, bio-algae concentrates
