You have all read headlines such as, “New
Research Shows XX Milligrams of XXXX Lowers Cholesterol and Prevents
Heart
Disease
by 50%.” So everyone jumps on the bandwagon and shops for isolated
supplements with at least XX mg. of nutrient XXXX. Obviously, the more
milligrams, the better the supplement. Some of the most frequently asked
questions of our holistic whole
food products (not supplements) are:
-
Does your product contain XX mg. of
nutrient XXXX for my XXXX symptom?
-
Does your product contain YY mg. of
ingredient YYYY as prescribed by my doctor?
-
Does your product contain the MDR (Minimum
Daily Requirement) or RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance) of
ZZZZ nutrient?
Obviously, these questions are focused on a
single nutrient matched to treat a specific symptom or health condition.
This
is the allopathic Western medicine way of “fixing” the body or
supplementing the symptoms. Our holistic research has found high doses
of a single nutrient may make the symptoms disappear but there also may
be side
effects or holistic consequences. Here is our wholistic
perspective on the fallacy of using single nutrient supplements.
WholeFoods Magazine called
astaxanthin King of Carotenoids (“How Astaxanthin Benefits the Whole
Body,” 01/25/2017). Astaxanthin has been shown in research to
offer
protection against antioxidant damage, cellular damage in the brain,
help to relieve pain and inflammation, support good eye health and even
help reduce damage from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. Do a search of
"astaxanthin" on the Internet and you will find many manufacturers
offering the maximum recommended dosage of 10-12 mg per day with the
following advertising claims:
-
A powerful antioxidant
-
A super-antioxidant nutrient
-
Nature's strongest antioxidant
-
800 times stronger than CoQ10
-
6000 times greater than vitamin C
When Dr. Michael Kiriac began his
bio-algae concentrates
research back in 1973, he rejected using astaxanthin as a
stand-alone, separate nutrient because it yielded only short term
results. This was often followed by toxic reactions and no long term
cancer prevention, not even cancer remission benefits in animals. Dr.
Michael Kiriac confirmed the Western medical principle of supplementing
the symptoms with single nutrient supplements is not complete and only
treats the symptoms. But when he used astaxanthin as part of his
bio-algae concentrates blend,
it became a major component of the successful elimination of cancer in
20+ species of animals tested. To learn why full spectrum nutrition is
better than supplementing the symptoms with single nutrients, read our

Magic of Full Spectrum Nutrition
Have you ever had your symptoms return
after stopping or reducing an isolated supplement? Early 20th century
research
showed taking isolated Vitamin C in the form of an ascorbic acid
supplement only got rid of the symptoms of scurvy. When the ascorbic
acid supplement is discontinued the symptoms and disease returns.
However, if one gets Vitamin C made from an extract of whole green
peppers not only do
the symptoms disappear but the scurvy is gone when discontinued. Vitamin
C in the form of a whole food product contains rutin, bioflavonoids,
Vitamin E, selenium and zinc that Nature dictated is needed for Vitamin
C to work optimally in our body. For more details, read the following

Why Taking Digestive Enzymes is Not Entirely Holistic
From our 90+ years of combined holistic
living experience and what we have learned by NOT
supplementing the symptoms, we
believe in and put our faith in the full-spectrum, whole superfood nutrition
of BioSuperfood
for our people clients and BioPreparation for their pets (furry
children). To find out how the microalgae in BioSuperfood and
BioPreparation are
different than other blue-green algae, Spirulina and chlorella products,

Hopefully, we have given you enough
holistic facts to convince you of the fallacy of using single nutrient
supplements to just treat your or your pet's symptoms.
