The pet food recalls continue. The best "wholistic" suggestion to prevent
danger to your pet is -- STOP feeding dry kibble dog food. In our
"wholistic" opinion, dry kibble dog food is the least nutritious form of
food to feed a carnivore. Furthermore, a majority of all pet food recalls is
with dry food. Canned food, freeze-dried food and raw food have a much lower

There are many types of detoxification
programs such as a
heavy
metal purge, parasite cleanse, colon detoxification, liver detox
program, gallbladder flush, special anti-Candida diet, etc. There are
many different detoxification tools such as isolated detox supplements,
special detox herbs, Traditional Chinese Medicine-TCM, chelation
therapy, juice cleanse/fast, etc. If all the symptoms are eliminated the
detox program/products worked, you have success. But other times we,
our pets and our clients have experienced the following two
disadvantages with many of the above detoxification treatments.
If a body has been toxic or had a chronic
illness for a long
time,
or the severity of toxicity is great, then one or two rounds of any of
the above detoxification methods may not be enough. The next step may
require expensive lab tests to determine which organ(s) are still toxic
and a blood test to determine the remaining toxic level. Then an
additional detoxification tool can be prescribed by a doctor or vet that
matches
the body's acute needs. One may need a “bigger hammer” (stronger
product), a new product that works in a different way or have to utilize
multiple tools to pull out the remaining toxins from ALL the glands and
organs of the WHOLE body to accomplish true holistic detoxification.
This process gets expensive.
A second disadvantage in using the above
detoxification tools is that they may be too strong for a highly
sensitive
person
(HSP) or small pet (such as a cat or small dog). The average dosage or standard prescribed
beginning protocol by a doctor or vet, may produce intolerable excessive
detoxing symptoms. For some of our clients (including Margaret) half the
prescribed starting dosage for the average person causes too much
detoxing. Even one capsule per day might be too much, so they have to
take ½-capsule every other day to start. What can one do if faced with either or both of the
above detoxing issues?
All of the above scenarios assume the
product is doing the detoxifying. This is clearly using the allopathic
Western medicine principle of introducing a substance into the body to
produce an effect: we call this
supplementing the symptoms. An alternative approach, which is
even more holistic and gentle, is to nutritionally feed and balance ALL
the glands and organs (especially the brain) to normalize
ALL the body's systems: then let the body's own natural ability to heal
detoxify itself at it's own pace and at a gentle, tolerable level. This is the
body/brain doing the work rather than the detox product/program. While this may
take longer to reduce the acute symptoms, it is much safer and the
results are more tolerable within the individual's limits. How does this
work "wholistically"?
Research showed that, “Spirulina (as found
in bio-algae concentrates) may help ADHD by removing aluminum,
carbon tetrachloride, and other toxins from the body.” (Torres-Duran

Chlorophyll is known to help remove
heavy
metals,
including
arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), mercury (Hg), lead (Pb)
and thallium (Tl) from your body that have accumulated due to the
ingestion of contaminated food products. Having abundant
chlorophyll, as evidenced by its dark green color of the microalgae
powder, bio-algae concentrates may also help protect you against
mercury in dental “silver
