Allergies can have multiple triggers but their
cause can ultimately be traced back to a
 malfunctioning
endocrine and poor immune system. Just changing food flavors or brands
to make the itching and rash go away, is just chasing the symptoms. Many
herbs and supplements improve digestion and reduce itching but never get
rid of all the symptoms. Other supplements and remedies target the
immune system, which might temporarily relieve the symptoms, but they
eventually come back. So, what is the answer?
If the endocrine (glandular) and immune
systems are not functioning at 100%, then the body cannot eliminate
wastes and toxins efficiently. This causes the toxins and wastes to be
pushed out the largest excretory organ of the body, the skin. This is
also a reason why lipomas (fatty
tumors) form. In addition, one of the most prevalent but
overlooked symptoms of a dysfunctional endocrine and immune systems is
malabsorption and
digestive tract disorders (e.g.,
irritable bowel disease).
Dr. Alfred
Plechner discovered an endocrine-immune (E-I) imbalance is present
in all animals with allergies. When this hidden imbalance occurs, the
immunoglobulin, IgA, antibodies that normally
operate in the mucus membranes of the gut go out of control and sometimes even
attack the
body itself (auto-immune response). The walls of the gut then, become inflamed and thicken
for protection. With the gut’s defense system compromised,
harmful bacteria and
other bad microorganisms can attack. When this happens, nutrients, (even
holistic)
 supplements,
as well as medication to
treat the disease are not absorbed by the body and exit
the other end. This is one reason why positive results may not be seen
using the
best holistic remedies and even medication. One must correct the
endocrine-immune imbalance first, so that the
mucus lining of the gut returns to
normal and then the body can absorb nutrients again and heal itself.
Dr. Plechner’s solution is a protocol of
physiological (low dosage) injections (or oral medication) of
 cortisone
to boost up the adrenal glands. He also found it necessary to give low
doses of thyroid hormone to 90% of his dogs and 10% of his cats. Once
the endocrine system is back in balance, the immune system kicks in and
all the disease symptoms disappear. Although there are no side effects
from Dr. Plechner's low dosage, hormone replacement protocol,
unfortunately, the animal must stay on these low doses of hormones for
life. While some animal's conditions (due to genetics and other factors)
are so severe, they absolutely need Dr. Plechner's hormone replacement
protocol, we prefer to try a more holistic approach first.
Changing foods may temporarily soothe the
irritation in the intestinal walls but does nothing to get the IgA
antibodies functioning again. Vitamins, herbs, digestive enzymes and
other supplements targeted to improve digestion and reduce allergies, do
nothing to boost the adrenals and thyroid glands to normalize Dr.
Plechner's E-I imbalance above. Can you see, now, why all the present
diet changes, natural (but not holistic) supplements and other allergy
remedies don't work? None address the real cause of the allergy
condition, a malfunctioning and imbalanced endocrine and immune systems.
Rather than supplementing the symptoms, we
have used a whole food product, called BioPreparation, to balance the
endocrine system and thus boost up the

Silent
Pet Epidemic.
Here is an illustrated case study from one
happy customer (both the dog and its guardian).
For the last several years my dog, Kona, and I have been struggling
with her persistent skin rash probably due to food allergies (see
photos below). She scratched and bit herself constantly so that the
wounds on her legs could never heal and her belly was covered in a black
or red
irritation. The vet recommended steroids which helped temporarily,
but I knew that would not be a long term option. I kept changing
foods, but nothing made any difference. I bathed her every 2 days
with allergy shampoos (not fun, as it was winter and we both got
into the shower). I also took away all her dog treats, but nothing
worked.

Finally I gave her
BioPreparation
and switched her to a premium
hi-protein dry dog food. Eventually, this did the trick and she
stopped licking her wounds, stopped scratching, her hair grew back, and
skin improved! I believe BioPreparation boosted her immunity and
her body could then heal itself. In addition, she had a
Cancerous Mast Tumor
removed, which grew very rapidly. Another one appeared, but since has
not grown any larger. I am hoping the BioPreaparation has stopped the
spread. I am so grateful for this success as it was torture watching
my dog suffer for so long. (Also note, that I add some premium
wet food into her dry kibble, and occasionally give her some raw food,
too.)
