The pet food recalls continue. The best "wholistic" suggestion to prevent
danger to your pet is — STOP feeding dry kibble dog food. In our
"wholistic" opinion, dry kibble dog food is the least nutritious form of
food to feed a carnivore. Furthermore, a majority of all pet food recalls is

There are many reasons why an isolated
supplement may
not
be working for you or your pet:
Wrong product—just
like drugs, isolated supplements need an accurate diagnosis (and
sometimes lab tests) to
match the correct product to reduce the symptom.
Only relieves the
symptoms—most isolated supplements just lessen the symptoms
but not correct the original cause of the imbalance.
Inadequate amount—sometimes
the generic guidelines for the average person (by weight) are
not enough for an individual’s body and health condition.
Not enough time—most
people want instant relief. If the symptoms are not gone in
30-60 days, the customer erroneously concludes the product does
not work and moves on. The body takes time to regenerate cells

Not “wholistic”
enough—one must account for the severity of the symptom, how
long the symptom has been present, any history of chronic
illness, how nutritionally depleted the body is, diet,
lifestyle, etc. in order to balance the WHOLE body. Most

This article is dedicated to answering the
last item #5. We have many clients (both people and pets) with chronic illnesses, many
seemingly unrelated symptoms and/or a long history of imbalances that
cannot get resolved using a boxful of isolated supplements
(and even medications). Here is a case study illustrating the
fallacy of supplementing the symptoms and
importance of balancing the WHOLE body, especially the brain.
A client had multiple surgeries for a rare
DPAM (Disseminated Peritoneal Adenomucinosis) tumor. DPAM is a type
of pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP), characterized by mucus-secreting
tumors in the abdomen. The tumor causes tissue fibrosis and if left
untreated, the mucin the tumor produces will fill the
abdominal cavity to impede digestion or organ function. The client’s
abdominal cavity was opened up and given a chemo-therapy wash. The operation took seven hours and it took them a very long time to
recover. The client still was not back to optimum shape after three
years and wanted more energy. They tried many different isolated supplements
but had not found one yet that actually made a difference. After

So, three years after multiple surgeries
where a chemotherapy wash was done, the client felt they were still
not back to normal, even with taking many different isolated
supplements. We can only speculate but we hypothesize it is
because of reasons #1-3 above. So, what was different about
