Because of our low, mail order,
Internet prices and the amazing demand for our "wholistic"
consulting and
revolutionary products, we limit every inquiry (e-mail and
telephone) to 15 minutes in order to help all those in need.
After the first 15 minutes we charge our normal
consulting
fee. Please make use of all the free resources available 24
hours/day, by clicking on the buttons in the left-hand menu of
every product page (Ingredients, Usage, FAQ, etc.). Thank you in
advance.
The pet food recalls continue. The best "wholistic" suggestion to prevent
danger to your pet is — STOP feeding dry kibble dog food. In our
"wholistic" opinion, dry kibble dog food is the least nutritious form of
food to feed a carnivore. Furthermore, a majority of all pet food recalls is
with dry food. Canned food, freeze-dried food and raw food have a much lower
percentage of recalls.

It has been postulated that if sugar came on
the market today as a new food additive, it would be banned because of
its unhealthy ramifications. We posted the following article link on our
Facebook page
and it has attracted a lot of “Likes”:
To save those who do not want to read the long
article, here are some highlights:
Nutritionist, John Yudkin, author of the
book “Pure, White, and Deadly” (1972), conducted
laboratory experiments (both animal and human) that showed sugar is
processed in the liver, where it turns to fat,
before
entering the bloodstream.
John Yudkin noted that sugar was a pure
carbohydrate, with just the fiber and “nutrition” stripped out and the
sweetness left in.
John Yudkin also noted that sugar has only
been part of Western diet for some 300 years, which is relatively short
in evolutionary terms. (We wholistically believe our bodies have not yet
adapted to this new “drug.”)
“In 1980, the US government issued its first
Dietary Guidelines: cut back on saturated fats and cholesterol. Americans
replaced steak and sausages with pasta and rice, butter with margarine and
vegetable oils, eggs with muesli, and milk with low-fat milk or orange
juice. But instead of becoming healthier, we grew fatter and sicker.”
In spite of very little supporting scientific
evidence, saturated fats and cholesterol were publicized then as the
villain, while sugar remained untouched despite
mounting
evidence to the contrary.
Recently, Robert Ludwig (pediatric endocrinologist who
specializes in childhood obesity) in his talk entitled: Sugar: The Bitter
Truth (2009) stated, fructose is a “poison” responsible for America’s
obesity epidemic.
Only recently has the U.S. government made a dramatic
shift in its dietary guidelines to limit sugar intake.
Do you think the food manufacturers knew
about the
unhealthy
ramifications and addictive nature of sugar 30-40 years ago? We find it
amazing how much ego, politics and money plays a part in what is
determined to be good and bad in our diets for our health. Remember this
infamous advertising
line: "There is no scientific evidence that cigarette smoking is
hazardous to your heath." Consider how soy
is still advertised as a healthy ingredient in our foods, in spite of
the mounting evidence that it is a suspected endocrine
disruptor (thyroid). Are
GMO-foods really safe? It depends on if you listen to the
food manufacturers' advertising, politicians and doctors paid by the pharmaceutical
and chemical industry or
independent food scientist, nutritionists and holistic practitioners
using empirical data.
Is your pet overweight or obese, diabetic,
arthritic or have chronic
renal failure (CRF) or chronic kidney disease (CKD)? The above
nutritional facts are why we wholistically feel
dry kibble, with its
high carbohydrate and sugar content, is
a species inappropriate diet for a carnivore (cat and dog). One of our
holistic veterinarian resources calls dry kibble "diabetes in a bag" for
cats. To read
our wholistic pet food philosophy, go to our web page:
We do not rely on mainstream media and
certainly not the food manufacturers to tell us what is healthy any
more. We encourage each reader to do their own holistic research to determine
what is good for them, their family and their pet’s diet.
