One of the
most common questions is whether one still needs to take isolated
supplements in addition to these whole superfood products,
BioSuperfood and
BioPreparation.
Before answering this question, let us discuss one big difference
between getting whole food nutrition and supplementing the symptoms with
isolated supplements. Supplement research shows the following :
-
Absorption and utilization of nutrients from isolated supplements is
only 20-25%.
-
Absorption and utilization of nutrients from a whole food is 90-95%.
This means
one may be
flushing down the toilet the other 65-75% of isolated
supplement benefits (and your money). For more details on this
“wholistic” concept, go to the following web pages:
The answer
to the question, Do I still need supplements?, all depends
on one’s wellness goals, health history and individual circumstances.
Here are some scenarios to help you determine what is best for you and
your family (including furry children).
-
One
already has a lab test confirming or exhibits symptoms of a
nutrient deficiency. The cause may be genetic or a dietary
deficiency, so one is
already taking an isolated supplement to
alleviate the symptoms. In this case, we suggest ramping up
BioSuperfood or BioPreparation to an advanced level where one sees
significant benefit in the symptoms. Then, with the advice of your
doctor or healthcare practitioner, slowly decrease the isolated
supplement to see if the body can stand on its own with the whole
food nutrition supplied by
BioSuperfood and
BioPreparation.
If the symptoms return, then one still does need the isolated
supplement. If symptoms do not return, then the whole food product
may be enough.
-
One eats
SAD (Standard American Diet) food: processed and packaged
foods, white flour, white sugar, corn, soy, soda pop (diet or
regular), fried
foods, fast foods, etc. We suggest
introducing BioSuperfood-f2, the general nutrition formula, slowly
and increasing up to a level where one feels good. If one has no
symptoms, no genetic pre-disposition to disease and is not of senior
age, then BioSuperfood-f2 will probably supply enough whole food
nutrition without isolated supplements. If one still has a lack of
energy, feels tired all the time, gets seasonal
allergies or
colds,
then one still might need isolated supplements to plug the nutrient
deficiencies or the advanced formula, BioSuperfood-f3, with
the most
antioxidants (super nutrition for the brain).
-
If one does eat SAD (Standard
American Diet) food and one does have
symptoms, there is a family
history of disease and/or one is of
senior age, then we
suggest starting with the advanced formula with the most
antioxidants,
BioSuperfood-f3. If all symptoms resolve themselves, then one can
consider reducing the amount to a maintenance level. If the body
still is without symptoms, then one may consider reducing or
eliminating any isolated supplements.
-
One eats
fresh fruits and vegetables, pastured meats, cooks from
scratch,
eats food from a garden or organically grown produce and
has no symptoms, then the general nutrition formula,
BioSuperfood-f2, might be all one needs with no isolated
supplements. If one wanted to be proactive against the conditions
listed in “C” above, then one could take a combination of
BioSuperfood-f2 for health maintenance and BioSuperfood-f3 for
advanced “wholistic” benefits.
-
If
one has symptoms and one has been eating a nutrient deficient diet
for 20+ years and only changed to a better diet in the last 5 years.
One cannot expect to make up for this deficiency by taking
BioSuperfood or BioPreparation for just a few months. It will
take more time
to determine if isolated supplements are still needed depending on
the efficiency of one’s body.
-
One has
a genetic component preventing proper absorption of a nutrient,
then one may need isolated supplements for life.
-
If one
has severe symptoms and is already taking an isolated supplement
or drug to compensate and be functional, then BioSuperfood’s or
BioPreparation's whole food nutrition may simply not be enough.
If one is
healthy, without any symptoms and takes no isolated supplements, does
one need to take our whole superfood products? It all depends on one’s health goals. With the
radiation in the
Pacific Ocean from the
Japanese reactor accident, the prevalence of
antibiotic-resistant bacteria, the spread of the
Ebola virus and other
recent declining health trends, we suggest being proactive by taking
some BioSuperfood-f3 to
“wholistically” balance the body and keep the body's natural ability to
heal at optimum efficiency.
It is
impossible to cover every single health scenario. If you still have
questions, have a complex situation, such as an
auto-immune condition,
multiple glandular imbalances or a chronic condition that just will not
go away no matter what supplement(s) you tried, we would be happy to
conduct a wholistic coaching session for you. Since our
whole superfood
products do not act like supplements, those who take advantage of our
90+ years of "wholistic" expertise often get faster and better results.
