In our "instant fix" society, everyone is
always looking for the one pill to eliminate all that ails them. But the
body did not get dis-eased overnight. All degenerative disease take
years before manifesting symptoms. In pets, usually
50% of degeneration
has occurred when clinical signs of disease shows up. In cats, 75%
degeneration of the kidneys has occurred by the time the cat has
clinical symptoms of Chronic Renal
Failure (CRF). When one starts taking or giving a whole food product
to their pet, one can observe beginning signs that the super nutrition
is starting to work, such as:

Background and health challenges
Pash is a nearly 13 year old Vizsla
dog. Pash had a significant degenerative joint disease,
manifesting as hip and elbow dysplasia and polyarthritis
(deformity and swelling in his elbows, feet, hocks and a very stiff
lower back/hip area). This is believed to be an autoimmune-mediated
response and most likely vaccine-related (note: none of our dogs
will ever be vaccinated again). We also mismanaged Pash's weight and
activities as a pup, which caused a few injuries that have come back to
haunt us as he's aged. Pash was already displaying signs of mobility
impairment at the age of 7 and we've managed him entirely naturally
(never any medication) since then. Pash also has a heart murmur
(diagnosed 3 years ago) and a lump in his mouth (described as
"suspicious" about 18 months ago).
BioPreparation and Ups and Downs We
began using BioPreparation approx. 18 months ago and moved Pash up to
therapeutic levels very rapidly (4 x BP-f3+ daily). He was holding his
own, but hit a tough patch about a year ago, when his rear end was
weakening at an alarming rate and he became very sluggish. A visit to
our holistic vet helped put him back on his feet (by about Christmas),
but left us totally confused, as we were at that stage adding an
amazing array of supplements to his diet and felt that it was overkill
and that we needed to streamline things urgently. So we took the bold
and slightly scary step of slowly eliminating the items one-by-one to
see how far back we could trim them and still maintain a comfortable,
therapeutic level. This involved listing everything he was taking at
the time and noting what it was good for, so as to see where we were
overlapping. We also focused on using whole foods to address his
problems (Pash is raw fed so this was easy to
tweak).
Well, here we are, about 8 months later and Pash is steadily
IMPROVING! He is not just maintaining
or
degenerating slowly, he is positively healing, recovering and getting
younger as the days pass! We cannot express how wonderful this is
and how happy we are, seeing the old boy so interactive with our
younger dogs, walking trails every day, shouting at us when he doesn't
get his own way, swimming, negotiating steps and slippery surfaces with
confidence, climbing over logs, and generally enjoying life to the
fullest.
He continues to eat a high quality raw
diet, munches meaty bones daily and is defying the aging process and
healing, despite his advanced state of "disrepair". I am convinced that
this is in no small way due to the BioPreparation! We
actively pushed it up to 4 x BP-f3+ daily whilst we removed the other
items and have now been able to drop to 2 x BP-f3+ daily and still
see him improve. In addition to this he gets only 2 other
supplements: CoEnzyme Q10 to specifically address his heart weakness
(and promote muscle elsewhere) and a Chinese herbal pill to address
bone, tendon and ligament health and pain control.
Onward and upward for our boy and hopefully some encouragement for those
of you starting out with BioPreparation—stick with it! You can't
expect years of degeneration to be cured overnight, but BioPreparation
certainly does nourish from within and will allow other healing
treatments to
work better and kick start improvements when things have ground to a
halt, or are deteriorating. I see BioPreparation as the core
ingredient, ensuring the spark for all other processes. Certainly
where Pash is concerned, his failing body now has enough strength to
repair itself again and that's quite incredible in an aging dog (13
years) with many years' degeneration in place.

Significant holistic conclusions from the
above testimonial are:
Pash's symptoms include degenerative
joint disease including elbow and hip dysplasia, polyarthritis an
immune-mediated response, overweight and injuries when younger, heart

WHOLE body. Buy fewer supplements, save money and simplify your
life with whole food products.
Pash is steadily improving even with a
reduction to a maintenance dosage that is half the therapeutic dosage—with
most isolated supplements one has to increase the dosage with age to
maintain the same health benefits. Just the opposite with superior whole
food products—one can reduce to a maintenance dose thereby saving
money in the long run.
We totally agree with C.D.'s conclusion that degenerative diseases
cannot be expected to clear up overnight. But with the right whole food
product, the body can nutritionally be supported to heal from within
(not the product doing the healing) and be the catalyst for the total
absence of symptoms—now that is true wellness.
